Founded by Barbara Awa, Premier Support Services was established with a deep commitment to serving the most vulnerable members of our community. Barbara recognized that navigating the complex healthcare system β especially the DC EPD Waiver program β could be overwhelming for families. She set out to create an organization that would not only simplify that process, but ensure every client receives the dignity, respect, and individualized attention they deserve.
Today, Premier Support Services continues to uphold that founding vision, providing expert case management that bridges the gap between individuals in need and the services that can transform their lives. Her leadership and vision drive the organization's commitment to compassionate, high-quality case management throughout the DC metropolitan area.
Our licensed case manager brings years of experience in social work and healthcare coordination. They conduct thorough assessments, develop individualized service plans, and provide ongoing monitoring to ensure each client's needs are met with professionalism and care.
Our registered nurse care coordinator ensures seamless communication between healthcare providers, staffing agencies, and families. With a clinical background and a heart for service, they oversee care delivery to ensure every client receives safe, effective, and compassionate support.
